Thriving
Exmouth
Australia · Western Australia
Exmouth sits at the tip of the North West Cape, flanked by the open Indian Ocean to the west and the sheltered Exmouth Gulf to the east. The Navy Pier at Harold E. Holt Communication Station is considered one of the best shore dives in the world — a barnacle-encrusted structure alive with wobbegong sharks, giant groper, and nudibranchs at every depth. Ningaloo Reef wraps around the cape, delivering wall dives, drift dives, and the annual whale shark aggregation that draws divers from everywhere.
