Underwater reef at Jervis Bay
Thriving

Jervis Bay

Australia · New South Wales

Jervis Bay's gin-clear waters are among the cleanest in New South Wales, fed by a protected marine park that harbours one of Australia's highest densities of wobbegong sharks, resident grey nurse sharks in the sea caves, and seasonal manta ray aggregations. White sand seafloor bounces light back up through the water column, producing visibility that regularly tops 20 metres even in winter.
