Martinique South Coast
France · Caribbean
Martinique's south coast holds one of the densest concentrations of Caribbean dive attractions in a single channel: the WWII wreck of the St. Gabriel rests in Fort-de-France Bay beside scuttled inter-island steamers, while the Rocher du Diamant rises offshore as a current-swept pinnacle and the leeward wall at Anse Noire descends into black-sand slope territory rich in macro life. The dry season from December through May delivers the clearest water and calmest conditions.
