Lisca Bianca
Aeolian Islands · Italy
Lisca Bianca is a white pumice islet between Panarea and Basiluzzo whose underwater reef teems with barracuda schools, large brown grouper, and dense posidonia meadows across a varied topography of channels and tunnels. Thermal gas vents bubble from the seabed in the shallows near Panarea's underwater caldera, creating an experience unique among Mediterranean dive sites. The combination of volcanic geology, pelagic visitors, and rich macro life makes this one of the most complete dives in the Aeolian chain.
