Aldabra Lagoon Reef
Aldabra Atoll · Seychelles
The interior lagoon reef of Aldabra is a sheltered diving paradise where enormous green turtles, blacktip sharks, and giant manta rays move through an ecosystem virtually unchanged for centuries. The lagoon's calm waters and exceptional visibility allow divers to observe complete ecological interactions across vast areas of pristine coral, seagrass, and sandy habitat. Aldabra's lagoon is considered one of the greatest untouched marine sanctuaries remaining on Earth.
