Pura Wall
Alor · Indonesia
Pura Wall is Alor's signature drift dive — a sheer vertical cliff face swept by powerful currents that bring in blue-water pelagics and maintain the nutrient supply for extraordinary gorgonian and soft coral growth on every surface. The current-driven upwellings also chill the water enough to attract species more commonly found at depth, and experienced divers regularly report encounters with thresher sharks near the wall's base. The combination of pelagic action above and macro critters hiding in the coral crevices below makes Pura Wall one of Indonesia's most complete single-dive experiences.
