Underwater at Cinque Island Pristine Reef

Cinque Island Pristine Reef

Dive site

One of the most intact reef systems in Indian waters, Cinque Island sits inside a national park closed to settlement and fishing. Table corals stretch unbroken across the shallows, branching Acropora fields give way to boulder corals on the slope, and the fish biomass here rivals reefs far outside India's tourism radar. Expect parrotfish clouds, Napoleon wrasse, and resident reef sharks on a reef that has simply had time to recover.
