Dive site

A submerged granite rockpile at the northern tip of Passage Island that concentrates Andaman endemic species found almost nowhere else in India. The jumbled boulders create a honeycomb of crevices and swim-throughs hosting endemic damsels, Andaman chromis, and goby species described from these very rocks. Currents hitting the pile create upwellings that draw pelagics over the top while macro life crowds every centimetre of encrusted stone below.
