Rock Point East
Apo Island · Philippines
Rock Point East is Apo Island's most current-swept site, where upwellings funnel along a dramatic wall and deliver nutrients that sustain huge gorgonian fans, schooling jacks, and resident barracuda. The corner of the point creates a natural aggregation point where predators and prey converge in a spectacle of open-water drama. Strong currents require experience but reward skilled divers with encounters rarely seen on the calmer western side.
