Punta Perdiz
Bay of Pigs · Cuba
A classic Caribbean wall dive where the reef drops from a coral terrace at 10 m to an uncountable depth, patrolled by hawksbill turtles so accustomed to divers they cruise within arm's reach. The upper terrace is a garden of sea fans and brain corals hosting dense barracuda schools that hover motionless in the current, their silver flanks catching the light like mirrors suspended in blue. The wall itself is hung with orange cup corals and deep-water sea fans that bloom into view as you descend past 25 m into the cooler water band.
