Underwater at Blond Rock

Blond Rock

Dive site

A submerged pinnacle between Salt Island and Dead Chest that barely clears the surface at low water. Two peaks rise from 30 metres and merge at 15, creating a saddle that funnels current and concentrates fish life. Horse-eye jacks school along the top while blacktip sharks patrol the deeper flanks. The site is a step up in current intensity from most BVI diving but rewards the effort with open-water pelagic encounters that the calmer sites rarely produce.
