Underwater at Land's End Sea Lion Colony

Land's End Sea Lion Colony

Cabo San Lucas · Mexico

The California sea lion colony at Land's End is one of the most interactive wildlife dives in Mexico. Dozens of curious juveniles spiral around divers, bite at fins, and blow bubble rings inches from your mask. The rocky pinnacles around El Arco form channels with mild surge and a kelp fringe at depth. Visibility is best on incoming tide. Early morning entries beat the glass-bottom boats and catch the colony most active.
