Radar Reef
Cayman Brac · Cayman Islands
Radar Reef is a classic Caribbean spur-and-groove reef on Cayman Brac's north coast, named for the island's radar station visible from the surface. The reef crest at 10 metres drops away through a series of coral buttresses into a sandy terrace at 25 metres, where garden eels sway in the current and free-swimming moray eels patrol the groove floors. The site attracts reliable schools of horse-eye jacks and is an excellent night dive for octopuses and hunting lionfish.
