Rock Monster Chimney
Cayman Brac · Cayman Islands
Rock Monster Chimney is a wall dive on the south side of Cayman Brac featuring a distinctive volcanic chimney formation that divers descend through from 15 metres to exit on the wall at 27 metres. The chimney interior is lined with orange sponges and tube worms, and silversides fill the passage during summer months. Outside on the wall face, black coral trees grow at depth and large barrel sponges anchor the coral landscape. Spotted eagle rays are frequently seen cruising the wall, and the overhang at the chimney base shelters resting nurse sharks.
