Cochino Grande Wall
Dive site
The north-facing wall of Cochino Grande drops from the ironshore shoreline at 5 m to 40 m in a vertical coral face that has seen virtually no anchor damage and almost no recreational diving — coral coverage rivals the best sites in the Bay Islands, with healthy stands of mountainous star coral, giant boulder corals, and intact sea fan forests. This is what Caribbean reefs looked like before mass tourism.
