Whale Shark Pass
Dive site
A channel between Cochino Grande and Cochino Pequeño that funnels tidal current past a finger reef at 15 to 25 m — from March through June whale sharks follow the spawning aggregations of little tunny and snapper through this corridor, providing some of the most reliable inland whale shark encounters in the Western Caribbean without the crowds of Cancún or Belize.
