Overview
Museo Atlantico is Europe's only underwater museum, located off the coast of Lanzarote, Spain. It features a series of thought-provoking sculptures by artist Jason deCaires Taylor, designed to create an artificial reef and a powerful message about marine conservation. Divers can explore various installations including a 'Rubicon' of human figures, the 'Jellyfish Tree', and 'The Raft of Lampedusa', experiencing art and nature in a unique submerged gallery.
Briefing note
Access to Museo Atlantico is typically through authorized dive centers only. Permits are required and usually arranged by the dive operator. Respect the art installations and marine life.

How we summarise this
We aggregate confirmed occurrence records from GBIF and OBIS within a fixed radius of each dive site. Occurrence records confirm presence and reveal seasonality clustering, but they DO NOT measure per-dive probability — there is no eligible-effort denominator. We deliberately do not publish a numeric '% chance of sighting' from this data.
