Miller's Point
False Bay · South Africa
Miller's Point on the eastern shore of False Bay is a celebrated cold-water macro paradise where dense kelp forests give way to rocky reefs carpeted in colourful invertebrates. The site is renowned for its resident octopus population — Cape Hope squids and common octopus are so abundant that spotting multiple individuals in a single dive is routine. Cape fur seals from the nearby Simon's Town colony regularly join divers in the kelp, creating playful encounters in the dappled green light filtering through the canopy.
