Caleta de Fustes
Fuerteventura · Spain
Caleta de Fustes is Fuerteventura's most accessible dive destination — a sheltered horseshoe bay with calm conditions year-round that hosts an interesting mix of deliberately sunk wrecks and prolific macro life on the surrounding volcanic rock and sand flats. The bay's protected character makes it the island's premier learning dive location and night diving destination, where the absence of swell and current allows extended exploration of the wrecks' colonisation by tube worms, nudibranchs, and juvenile fish using the structures as nursery habitat. Sand tiger sharks from the warmer months cruise the deeper channel between the bay entrance points, giving experienced divers a genuine pelagic highlight from an otherwise approachable site.
