Turtle Cove
German Channel · Palau
A sheltered bay on the eastern edge of the German Channel approach where green and hawksbill turtles rest and feed on sponge-encrusted rock. The calm conditions make this a reliable second dive site after the manta station, with excellent macro life in the seagrass and rubble zones including ornate ghost pipefish, flamboyant cuttlefish, and blue-ringed octopus. Nudibranchs and flatworms cover every surface in remarkable variety.
