Meno Wall
Gili Islands · Indonesia
The east face of Gili Meno drops as a near-vertical wall from 5 m to 45 m, festooned in large sea fans and black coral trees that shelter ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses, and ornate ghost pipefish on nearly every dive. The wall is shaded from the afternoon sun, making it exceptional for macro photography, and light upwellings from the deep bring occasional passing tuna and rainbow runners.
