Shark Point Gili Trawangan
Gili Islands · Indonesia
A rubble and coral slope off the northwest corner of Gili Trawangan where white-tip and black-tip reef sharks congregate in numbers that are genuinely rare for beginner-accessible diving. Sharks rest on the sandy patches at 15 m to 22 m in the morning and cruise the reef crest in the afternoon. No aggressive behaviour has been documented and the site is used for PADI Open Water checkout dives.
