Overview

Maltese passenger ferry scuttled off Gozo's south coast in August 2006 as an artificial reef. Sits upright on sand at 40 m with the wheelhouse at 30 m and the main promenade deck around 32 m. The signature shot is the long interior corridor lit blue through a row of square windows on the passenger deck. Most dived wreck in Gozo, mostly intact, with the engine room and lounge spaces open to penetration for trained divers. Often paired with the MV Cominoland and Xlendi tug wrecks on the same Xatt l’Aħmar reef.

Briefing note

Wreck sits in Maltese marine waters with no permit required. Penetration only for divers with wreck training; sand and silt can blow out visibility inside the engine room. Best paired with MV Cominoland (50 m east) for a two-wreck dive.
