Munseom Island Wall
Dive site
The most celebrated dive site in Korea — a sheer basalt wall around Munseom (Door Island) just south of Jeju City. The wall is blanketed in gorgonian fans, Korean sea squirts, and encrusting sponge in startling colours for a temperate site. Soft corals bloom in summer when the Tsushima Current pushes warm water north. Korean rockfish patrol every crevice.
