Underwater at Indonesian Wreck

Indonesian Wreck

Karimunjawa · Indonesia

A small Indonesian cargo vessel rests upright on a sandy seabed at 18 metres, encrusted with hard and soft corals after decades on the bottom. Lionfish and scorpionfish lurk in the shadows of the wheelhouse, batfish school around the mast, and moray eels peer from porthole-sized gaps in the hull. The intact superstructure and accessible depth make this an excellent entry-level wreck dive.
