Menjangan Kecil Wall
Karimunjawa · Indonesia
The eastern face of Menjangan Kecil island drops into a sheer wall draped in sea fans, black coral trees, and cascading soft corals. Pygmy seahorses hide in the gorgonians, nudibranchs pepper every surface, and hawksbill turtles make regular passes along the wall face. The shallow reef table at the top of the wall is ideal for the safety stop and rewards patient photographers with ornate ghost pipefish and robust ghost pipefish.
