Debut Manta Point

The channel between Kei Besar and the outer reefs near Debut village funnels plankton-rich water that attracts a resident population of reef manta rays year-round, with numbers peaking from November through March. Mantas arrive predictably in the morning hours and perform extended cleaning station visits on the shallow coral bommies, circling at arm's length for minutes at a time. One of the most reliable and least-visited manta aggregation sites in Indonesia.
