Coral Garden
Kish Island · Iran
A shallow plateau of table and brain corals on the northern shore of Kish, this site is the best introduction to Persian Gulf reef ecology. Parrotfish, surgeonfish, and Persian Gulf endemic damsels feed across the coral heads while hawksbill turtles pass through regularly. Visibility is best in the cooler months when the water stratification eases. Ideal for all experience levels and good for night diving.
