Stonehenge
Koh Lipe · Thailand
A forest of granite boulders arranged in stacked formations on the southwest side of Koh Lipe, dropping from 5 m to 28 m. The boulders are draped in soft corals and encrusting sponges; cracks and crevices shelter moray eels, lionfish, and sleeping nurse sharks. Currents funnel between the boulders during mid-tide, drawing schooling barracuda and trevally. One of the most photogenic dive sites in Tarutao National Marine Park.
