El Cabrito Wall
La Gomera · Spain
El Cabrito is a near-vertical wall on La Gomera's southeastern coast that drops from 8 m to beyond 60 m, draped in deep-water black coral trees and large red gorgonian fans. The wall is riddled with crevices sheltering Roman nose moray eels and spine-cheek anemonefish, while the blue water off the wall is patrolled by amberjack and the occasional oceanic manta ray during summer. The remote location and clear blue-water visibility make this one of the island's most atmospheric advanced dives.
