Punta Llana
La Gomera · Spain
Punta Llana is a sheltered shallow reef on La Gomera's east coast, ideal for beginners and macro photography with its labyrinth of lava ridges and sandy corridors reaching 20 m. Colonies of black-faced blennies guard territories in centimetre-scale crevices, while ornate wrasse and Canarian damselfish add splashes of colour to the dark basalt. The site also serves as a reliable cleaning station where loggerhead turtles queue patiently for attention from wrasse.
