Pig Island
Madang · Papua New Guinea
Pig Island's sheltered reef slope is Madang's premier introduction dive and one of PNG's finest shallow reefs, its hard coral coverage virtually intact and its fish life so diverse and abundant that it holds its own against sites twice as famous. The protected bay creates conditions calm enough for new divers while offering experienced macro hunters an endless supply of subjects including pygmy seahorses, frogfish, and an extraordinary diversity of nudibranchs.
