Çiftlik Bay
Marmaris · Turkey
Çiftlik Bay is a deep, sheltered inlet south of Marmaris where the rocky walls descend steeply into 30 metres, covered in sponges, gorgonians, and dense algae communities that support an exceptional diversity of macro life. Loggerhead sea turtles graze the posidonia meadows in the head of the bay while Mediterranean moray eels, conger, and a remarkable variety of nudibranchs inhabit the deeper wall sections. The site's protection from swell and reliable calm conditions make it diveable year-round.
