Blacktip reef sharks circle the shallow sections of the Prinz Eugen in small groups, their distinctive black-tipped fins cutting the surface as they patrol the exposed propellers in the shallows. They feed primarily on reef fish, squid, and crustaceans, and their constant movement through shallow reef environments makes them one of the most effective predators at regulating reef fish populations across a wide range of depths.
