Flic en Flac Wall
Mauritius · Mauritius
The outer reef edge off the popular Flic en Flac beach on the west coast drops into a clean wall festooned with sea fans and black coral trees. Green sea turtles rest on ledges at 12 to 18 metres and are reliably encountered year-round. The wall top sits at 8 metres and makes an excellent safety stop reef, attracting triggerfish, butterflyfish, and occasional eagle rays in open water off the drop-off.
