Bombarda Reef
Milos · Greece
Bombarda is a submerged pinnacle rising from 35 metres to within 8 metres of the surface, its flanks completely smothered in red and orange gorgonian sea fans that transform the dive into a slow drift through colour. The pinnacle concentrates Aegean pelagics — amberjack and dentex circle the summit while barracuda hang motionless in the blue above. It is one of the deeper and more exposed sites in the Milos fleet portfolio, rewarding experienced divers with an encounter that feels more like the open ocean than a coastal reef.
