Bus Stop Bommie
Neil Island (Andaman Islands) · India
Bus Stop Bommie is a beloved macro dive site around an isolated coral bommie rising from a sandy plain on Neil Island's western shore, where divers queue to observe an extraordinary concentration of cleaning stations, rare nudibranch species, and seahorses. The sandy surroundings host robust ghost pipefish, blue-ringed octopus, and frogfish camouflaged against the sponge-encrusted bommie surface. Despite the playful name the site reveals Andaman biodiversity at its finest for patient macro photographers.
