Solitary great barracuda hover like sentinels at the bow and stern of the Tarpon, motionless except for the slow fanning of their tails. They use wrecks as ambush stations, positioning themselves to intercept baitfish drawn to the structure. Their distinctive iridescent flanks and streamlined silhouette make them one of the most dramatic encounters on this wreck.
