Tanikely Sud
Nosy Tanihely · Madagascar
A drift dive at a shallow drop off featuring magnificent coral architecture with large coral spurs. The reef top offers superb hard and soft corals between 2 and 6 meters, while sand patches extend to 20 meters. The small drop off reveals gorgonian sea fans and diverse marine fauna including leopard sharks, snappers, barracudas, bonito, and large lobsters. Sea turtles are regularly encountered among the coral gardens. This site is part of the protected Nosy Tanikely marine reserve.
