SD Point
Nusa Lembongan · Indonesia
SD Point (named after a local school nearby) on Nusa Penida's northwest coast is a high-energy drift dive along a wall that drops to over 40 metres. Strong currents bring nutrients that feed an extraordinary density of marine life — vast schools of fusiliers and jacks attract tuna and barracuda, while white-tip and black-tip reef sharks cruise the wall edge. The hard coral coverage is among the best in the area. This site is for experienced drift divers only given the powerful and sometimes unpredictable currents.
