Giant morays occupy the Sea Tiger's interior cavities, their heads protruding from corroded porthole openings as they continuously cycle water across gill-breathing surfaces. These apex ambush predators maintain territories within the wreck's structure and are cleaned by small wrasse that remove parasites, illustrating a classic mutualistic relationship common on Hawaiian artificial reefs.
