Overview
Cut-through channel dredged in 1908 connecting inner lagoon to outer reef. Mantas come in to be cleaned on the sandy bottom, and grey reef sharks patrol the channel mouth on falling tide.

Occurrence records confirm presence and reveal seasonality clustering, but they DO NOT measure per-dive probability — there is no eligible-effort denominator. We deliberately do not publish a numeric '% chance of sighting' from this data.
