Green turtles are abundant at CEADS, grazing on the healthy seagrass beds and macroalgae carpets that thrive in the undisturbed shallow water. The no-take reserve conditions have allowed nesting females to return to nearby beaches with minimal disturbance, supporting a growing local population. Encounters are relaxed and sustained — turtles habituated to rare diver presence often continue feeding without interruption.
