An Thoi Islands
Phu Quoc · Vietnam
The An Thoi archipelago clusters of small islands off Phu Quoc's southern tip offer the best diving in the Gulf of Thailand — calm, clear water over gardens of staghorn and brain coral populated by dense reef fish communities and resident sea turtles. Depths rarely exceed 20 meters, making the area ideal for newer divers while the macro diversity satisfies experienced underwater photographers. Nudibranchs, blue-ringed octopus, and frogfish all occur regularly across the sandy channels between the islands.
