Underwater at Turtle Island (Hon Doi Moi)

Turtle Island (Hon Doi Moi)

Phu Quoc · Vietnam

Hon Doi Moi, known among divers as Turtle Island, is a small protected islet off Phu Quoc's western coast where green sea turtles feed on seagrass and rest on coral ledges in water so shallow and clear that snorkelers regularly share encounters with fully certified divers. Coral cover here is among the best in Vietnamese waters, with massive Porites colonies serving as turtle resting platforms and supporting dense populations of resident reef fish. The combination of easy access, reliable turtle encounters, and healthy coral makes this Phu Quoc's most celebrated dive.
