Neptune Islands South
Dive site
South Neptune Island sees less boat traffic than the north group and attracts large resident white sharks particularly in autumn and winter. The island's rocky shoreline is one of South Australia's largest New Zealand fur seal rookeries, providing a natural prey aggregation that draws sharks consistently through the cool months. Surface cage viewing is offered here by permit holders on multi-day liveaboard itineraries.
