Blue Wall (Pared Azul)
Providencia · Colombia
San Andrés' outer barrier drops from a shallow coral plateau at 8 m down a sheer wall past 50 m. Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks cruise the top edge all year, while the wall hosts moray eels, large lobsters, and parrotfish feeding among 85 coral species. The site lies within the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve — the third largest barrier reef system in the Western Hemisphere.
