Coral Garden

Coral Garden is the benchmark of Redang's marine park health — a broad, shallow reef platform stretching from two to fifteen metres across the island's north-western margin, with coral cover density that survey teams from the Department of Marine Parks Malaysia consistently record among the highest in Peninsular Malaysia. Massive Porites heads reach two metres in height, flanked by pristine table corals sheltering basslets and cardinalfish, and staghorn thickets housing a dozen anemonefish species.
