Pulau Lima

Redang Island · Malaysia

Pulau Lima is a cluster of five small islands off Redang's southwestern flank, their submerged bases connected by a series of coral ridges and sandy channels that channel currents into reliable drift diving conditions. Large schools of yellowtail fusiliers and snappers orbit the deeper ridges while turtles rest on the cleaner sandy patches between coral bommies. The site offers enough variety in depth and topography to fill multiple dives, with the inter-island channels often producing surprise encounters with passing eagle rays and reef sharks.
