Blue Hole Romblon
Romblon · Philippines
Romblon's Blue Hole is a vertical cave entrance near the town harbor that opens into a cathedral-like chamber of shimmering blue light, with tunnels connecting to the open sea at various depths. The sheltered interior walls are encrusted with colorful sponges and soft corals, and pygmy seahorses cling to the fan corals just inside the entrance arch. The cave system is suitable for Open Water divers in its shallower sections, while the deeper passages reward Advanced divers with dramatic swim-throughs and exceptional photographic compositions.
